Took my first sewing class Stitch Lounge. The amazing two Melissas and a Hope created this urban DIY community for the like-minded. I am very fortunate to live so close to this lounge. The intimacy of this place provides great access to a semi-private studio space with expert sewers available for assistance.
Tomorrow I start the hem and basic alterations 2 part class. I am suppose to bring a skirt or pair of pants that require hemming and a shirt that requires alterations. I have only been on the sewing machine once recently, and I am in search of a clothing item that is destroyable. Looking now…
